Dictionary

Accumulation: buying and investing in things
(things come with a cost, so one needs to continually take things in order to survive)

Amnesia: forgetting things
(we forget things when things are not present in our lives, a necessary symptom of a system of re-presentational governance, autonomy, and wealth)

Anesthesia: a controlled, temporal loss of sensation
(a preventing of people to register feelings especially pain—"your feelings do not matter")

Performance: one needs to act or be someone and personable in order to qualify for appreciation, attention, and reception from others.
(A society consistently ashamed of themselves, expressed in self-deprecation, dark humor, and in shriveling self-awareness, will laugh over or exhale or expriate breath since it is of breathing that we bring awareness that how we all are deeply connected to the traumas of society. Simply put, a system consistently ashamed of itself will satirize itself.)

Privatization: things become private or not shared and separate (culture of shame where certain people deserve things while others do not as well as shame of feelings, where feelings are oriented as private, especially pain, because to make things private means we are not a burden to others. It means that we can feel free in the absence of relationship yet that freedom comes with an emptiness within oneself.)

Professionalism: development of matured capacity—being a good person means developing abilities of someone able to work
(Expressed in "this is the way that things are," "company policy," and "this is what you need to know in order to develop," and then expressed in a collective shame around those non-professional by those professsional)

Progress: the directive towards goals, GDP, up, stock market indexes, happiness, and numbers becoming larger.
(Seductive to a society in super-position, appearing to move yet staying the same and collapsing upon its own obsession with growth, things going up, and of joy separate from sorrow)

Industrialization: there are things you need to do to live and one needs to do them to make a living.
(of a manufactured life rather than one lived)

Re-presentation: a lack of presence, thus offering paltry, secondary symbols to presence in compensation for a lack of safety, belonging, communication, and holding between people and things (of the many, most especially re-presentatives in governments, re-presentatives of those in court, and re-presentative speech where people no longer say what they mean but are mean in what they say)
Re-fridgeration: meaning to freeze and connected to Privatization, as re-fridgeration comes with saving things for later and postponing things at a later date until we are ready.
*Re-fridgeration is not to be confused with restraint which is something no one really talks about in a world addicted to Freedom.

Tupperware: containers for food typically used in refridgeration to preserve food.
(Replace food with emotions. Under Modernity, these containers are typically plastic meaning created out of Transaction and in distrust of the changing nature of life as well as things Too Close to Home)
