We are standing on the shoulders of giants.
We are in touch with creation's soul: in its masonry, artistry, and delicacy of refinement
that, more often than not
is a mystery to us, knowledge, that is.
We can unravel this mystery,
to see how we are living upon the shoulders of giants,
to see all that has been given to us. Bestowed.
Adorning life with a painted frame of gratitude.
Yet we have taken for granted this:
we mistrust creation and what it tells us.
These times remind us of that.
The times require something of us:
we need to turn where we are most lowered.
To depth. To subscendence and submergence.
To deciduously falling with grace.
Since it is in our standing,
our longing to improve, progress, to stand taller.
and to overcome, that we trample over what we need most.
So intimate with getting what we want,
we have forgot what we so dearly need.
We stand over exactly what we need most.
Beneath lies the tell-tale heart. Beating presence.
Beneath are the depth where our giants are most lowered.
bending down we tend to the seeds of growth.
